THE STORY... The elder Temple Magus of a magickal order has just passed away. JACK MASON, an up and coming young Magus cultivated to advance the lineage, loses it all when the elder Magus' biological son unexpectedly inherits everything. Outraged by the son's greedy plans to commercialize and franchise the Temple, Jack Mason plots revenge. After a sex magick ritual spins out of control, unpredictable forces catapult Jack into a dizzying maze of encounters with a cache of underworld characters and a twist of fate he never saw coming. Antero Alli's ninth feature, "TO DREAM OF FALLING UPWARDS", is a zany occult thriller and cautionary tale of the destructive use of power and the redeeming action of self-sacrifice in service to the highest good.

Our ninth independent feature film, "TO DREAM OF FALLING UPWARDS", is now in production. At this time our crew needs additional funding to help offset expenses necessary for completing this film. The projected budget for this film is only $10,000. This estimate is so ridiculously low due to the in-kind grants we are receiving in the form of deep discounts and volunteer services from a generous talent base who believe in this project. As director/producer, I (Antero) am personally bankrolling 50% of production costs from my savings. We need to raise an additional $5000 to see this film all the way through.
We are determined to make this film, no matter what, in the best way we know how given of our available resources and the wealth of our shared experiences. INVESTMENT PROPOSALS

PRODUCER
$2000. is the minimum and $3000. is the maximum investment for PRODUCER credit. The monetary return for PRODUCER is 2 points or 2% of the net sale (after production expenses are recouped) if our film is purchased by another production company, distributor or industry professional. This means if we sell our film for one million dollars and our total expenses are $10,000., then the PRODUCER receives 2% after production expenses are recouped. Whether the film is sold or not, the PRODUCER also receives onscreen credit as "Producer", plus five complimentary dvds of the film, free passes to all the public screenings of this film hosted by Vertical Pool Productions and one dvd each of all Vertical Pool films currently available on dvd.

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER (A.P.)
$1,000. is the minimum investment for A.P. credit and $1500. is the maximum. The monetary return for A.P. is 1%, or 1 point, per $1,000 invested of the net sale (after production expenses are recouped) of our film to another production company, distributor or industry professional. This means if we sell our film for one million dollars and our total expenses are $10,000., (our perceived budget) then the A.P. receives 1% per $1000 invested after production expenses are recouped. Whether the film is sold or not, the A.P. also receives onscreen credit as "Associate Producer", plus three complimentary dvds of the film, and free passes to all the public screenings of this film hosted by Vertical Pool Productions.
