These "music videos" betray the commercial agendas of traditional music videos
with their slick overly-produced, multiple fast cuts of the featured singer, musician
or band. By deconstructing the music video genre, I am free to follow my imagination
and fulfill the creative impulse. The music in these videos are by individuals and bands

THE MODERN PROMETHEUS (2020; 5:18 min) Portland dancer
Douglas Allen and I collaborated on a ritual dance for a
scene
in
my 2020 feature film,
"The Vanishing Field". The unused footage
inspired the creation of
this music video with a track from Seattle
WA synth band,
The Science of Deduction.
THE HOUSE OF FEAR (2020; 5:15 min) By combining
Sylvi's "House of Fear"
with footage
from my 2005
feature,
"The Greater Circulation" I was able to explore a tone
story
of love lost and gained.
