ANTERO ALLI  has been writing and directing feature art films since 1993. His idiosyncratic movies are often influenced by his deep background in experimental theatre (since 1975). They have all been extensively reviewed at filmthreat.com and have screened throughout the west coast arthouse circuit. In 2015, he took a five year hiatus from filmmaking to direct and produce five intermedia performance rituals while recording music and creating music videos with his wife, Sylvi in Portland Oregon where they currently reside. Antero returned to cinema with "The Vanishing Field" in 2020 and "The Alchemy of Sulphur" in 2021. He is currently in preproduction for "Circuit 9" scheduled for Autumn 2022 release.

VENUE HISTORY

Northwest Film Forum, Seattle WA (2013)

"Alli's films are not for the easily distracted. They are challenging and
sometimes cryptic in their dissection of human emotions and societal
interactions. Repeated viewings, however, reveal layers of wisdom
and wit that may not have been obvious in the initial screening."
